Our Brothers and Sisters were welcomed with open arms to the Diocese of Sioux Falls at the invitation of Bishop Donald DeGrood. Here we strive to plant the seeds of faith so that the Lord may bring about abundant fruits of holiness.

Where we
SERVE
Our priests and brothers serve at Holy Spirit and Holy Family Catholic Parishes in Mitchell. Both the brothers and sisters also serve the youth in the Bishop O’Gorman Catholic Schools as well as visiting surrounding parishes and schools within the diocese.
Our brothers welcome new members into the community walking with them during their time of formation. The formation they receive is integral, spiritual, doctrinal, pastoral, and human development.
Formation House
Our brothers and sisters host a college Bible study for college students in Mitchell and encourage them to strive for holiness in their vocation as students.
College Ministry in Mitchell
Our priests and brothers here serve the needs of the parish by supporting them through the Sacraments and liturgical formation, particularly in altar serving.
Holy Family and Holy Spirit Parishes
Here our brothers and sisters serve the youth at both the junior high and high school, providing faith activities, small groups, mentoring, and retreats to help deepen their relationship with Christ.
O’Gorman School System
Our sisters provide various retreats for families and women. They also serve the parishes and schools throughout the diocese, helping with faith formation programs, camps, VBS, and other events.
Diocesan Ministry
Our sisters visit each grade at the elementary schools of the diocese, helping the children to grow in virtue and strengthen their love for Jesus.
Serving the Elementary Schools
We support the diocese in a variety of vocational events including visits to schools and colleges, vocation dinners, hosting holy hours and camps. We do college ministry and host holy hours for young women.
Promoting Vocations in our Youth
Our brothers and sisters do confirmation preparation, along with other youth events that include retreats for the high schoolers and leadership team formation programs.
